Summer Camps
Welcome
to Summer Camp in Lindenlea! We have something for everyone, no
matter the age or interest. Registration will begin on April 21st
at the community centre, or you can download a registration form and
mail it in along with your payment.
Tennis Camp
- in association with the OAC and the Noble Tennis School, this camp is
designed for children between the ages of 6 to 12 years (5 year olds
who participated in our tennis camp as a 4 year old will be allowed to
participate this year). The hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30
p.m., Monday to Friday, every week from June 29th until August 21st.
No camp July 1st or August 3rd. The cost of the camp is
$150.00; this includes our Friday pizza lunch.
Crafts & Laughs Summer Camp
- designed for children 3 - 5 years of age. Both indoor and
outdoor activities, imaginative crafts, circle time and many other
activities will keep your little ones busy while under the watchful eye
of certified ECE teacher and nursery school director, Sue-Ellen Nevala.
Camp runs from 9 a.m. until noon, July 6th until August 14th, and
costs $125.00/week.
Funky Art Summer Camp
- for children 6 - 10 years of age, this camp is offered in the
afternoon from 1 - 4 p.m., the weeks of July 13-17, July 27-31, and
August 17-21 (sorry, this week is now full). If combined with our morning tennis camp, this is a
perfect option for parents seeking a full day of activities for their
child. Week 1's theme will be Welcome to Art Farm, with
individual and group projects centering on farm life, Week 2 is all
about Crazy Creatures, and Week 3 will be Time Travel through Art with
visits to ancient civilizations and their artwork. Cost is $90.00
per week. Instructor: Emily White.
Registration
for these camps is held every Tuesday evening from 6 - 8:30 p.m. at the
Lindenlea Community Centre, 15 Rockcliffe Way. If you have any
