Adult Fitness Classes Classes run September 6th- October 31st
All-Access Pass: $235 (This gives you access to all our online and in person adult fitness classes for the eight-week session.

her interest in Tai Chi and more (Chinese medicine, Qi Gong...). She has
studied under Lainy Yasuda at Kokoro Well-Being for over 15 years and
received training under Daisy Lee and Damo Mitchell. Join her in the
gentle, slow, restorative, and calming meditative movements of Tai Chi.

This workout is designed to address the specific needs of older adults. We start with a walking warmup to increase the heart rate, including arm exercises to improve the range of upper-body movement. Using the dance barre for safety, we then practice balance positions interspersed with leg, core and upper-body strengthening exercises. The relaxed atmosphere of this class enables participants to discuss and ask questions about the exercises.

MOBILITY AND INTRODUCTION TO MEDITATION (ONLINE)
A revitalizing chair class suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. Introducing exercises that activate the vagus nerve. This 10th cranial nerve is the longest nerve in the body connecting the brain with all organs and the intestines. By increasing our vagal tone we activate the parasympathetic nervous system and stimulate healing and recovery whether from stress, chronic disease, or injury. We focus on slow, deep breathing to stimulate “relaxation response” known as the “rest and digest” mode.
The beginning and end of class we bring awareness to deep abdominal breathing allowing us to find balance and tranquillity. Most of the class will be stretching, and mobilizing and is guaranteeing to improve mobility in all major joints.

We’ll start with an extended cardiovascular warmup and move into mobility training for the muscles along the spine to prepare for a fusion of Pilates, and core strength endurance exercises. We use a variety of breathing techniques and incorporate balance exercises. The class will finish with a stretch and relaxation for tranquility of the body and soul.

Most of the class with be on the mat working mainly on strengthening deep core musculature, glutes and hamstrings. Movements can be adapted for various levels.

Master Taylor Haas 5th Dan, has been teaching Grandmaster Tae Eun Lee Moo Kwang system in the Lindenlea community for over 30 years! Master Haas has a philosophy to teach the Art and Sport of Taekwondo in a fun and structured manner that is ideal for students of all ages!

Cancellation policy - Eligibility: Participants can cancel their enrollment within one week (7 days) from the start date of classes or from the date of purchase. Refund: A full refund minus administration fees of 7% will be issued if the cancellation request is made within this period. Procedure: To cancel, participants must submit a cancellation request via email or in writing
Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days from the date of approval of the cancellation request. Pro-rated refunds will be given with a medical certificate should a refund be approved.
There are no refunds past the half way mark of the class.
Cancellations by the LCC Unfortunately, some programs may be cancelled due to insufficient registration. In this case a full refund will be issued (with no admin fee) or you can opt for a credit. We make every effort to make decisions on these programs prior to the start date.
